Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care: prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, scaling and root planning, periodontal maintenance.
Perform oral cancer screenings and document findings.
Take and review dental radiographs as needed.
Deliver patient education on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive strategies.
Accurately record clinical notes in digital charting system and ensure treatment plans align with dentist oversight.
Maintain infection control, sterilization protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
Collaborate with dentist and front-office staff to optimize patient experience and schedule flow.
Qualifications
Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Minnesota.
Current CPR certification.
Experience with digital charting and dental radiography preferred.
Strong communication and patient-education skills.
Professional, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours; some practices may require occasional evenings.

We are seeking a dependable, organized Dental Assistant to support clinical procedures, ensure patient comfort, and contribute to a smooth-operating office. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail-minded, and eager to grow their skills in a supportive practice.Key Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments/equipment are sterilized and ready for use
Assist the dentist chairside during restorative, preventive, and minor surgical procedures
Take and process digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos
Mix, pass, and prepare dental materials (e.g., impressions, cements)
Maintain accurate patient charts and update clinical notes
Provide patient education and post-op instructions in a friendly, reassuring manner
Manage infection control and follow OSHA/ADA/CDC guidelines
Help with inventory management and basic lab tasks as needed
Support front-office tasks occasionally (appointment confirmations, patient check-ins) when required
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant License/ completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
Current radiography/X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
1+ years of dental assisting experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply
Strong communication skills and professional bedside manner
Comfortable with digital dental technologies (intraoral cameras, digital X-ray)
Ability to multitask, stand for extended periods.

Receptionist — Seaburg Family Dental (Prior Lake, MN)
Position Summary Seaburg Family Dental is seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors and is responsible for providing warm, efficient customer service, managing front-desk operations, and supporting daily office workflows in a family dental practice focused on prevention and gentle care.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming, professional demeanor.
Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously; handle appointment scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, and follow-up calls.
Register new patients and update existing patient information in the practice management system; verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations when applicable.
Check patients in and out; collect co-pays and process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records.
Manage patient intake paperwork, scan and file documents, and ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA.
Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize chair time and maintain efficient patient flow; communicate schedule changes to clinical staff.
Send appointment reminders by phone, text, or email and document responses in the patient record.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office and waiting area.
Assist with administrative tasks such as mailing, ordering office and dental supplies, and preparing patient recall lists.
Handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally; escalate clinical or billing issues to the appropriate team member.
Work to process insurance claims
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in office administration or customer service preferred.
Prior experience in a dental or medical office preferred; front-desk or customer service experience required.
Familiarity with dental practice management software and electronic health records is strongly preferred.
Basic knowledge of dental insurance terminology, claims, and pre-authorizations preferred.
Proficiency with office technology, including phone systems, computers, email, and common productivity software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and demeanor; ability to maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate empathy.
Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, including some evenings or Saturdays if the practice schedule requires.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Ability to use a computer keyboard, phone, and office equipment.
